Heartland Sales Trainers provide comprehensive training, coaching, and training content for the entire Payroll Sales channel.

The Advanced Payroll Sales Training Team upholds the Heartland Way and prides itself in infusing Heartland’s credo and core values “Entrepreneurs Respectfully Serving Entrepreneurs with Care, Focus, and Quality” into each sales representative.

Sales Trainers grow Heartland’s profit by customizing the salespersons process ensuring it’s authentic, ethical, sustainable, and successful for each individual resulting in self-sustaining wealthy sales professionals.

Advanced Training’s focus is on veteran development, new solutions and product launches, and complex training needs for Heartland Payroll.

Major Job Responsibilities/Duties: Develop training content including, but not limited to: PowerPoint Presentations, Quick Reference Guides/Training Guides, FAQs, Video Courses, etc.

Develop and maintain training content, supporting resources, and sales tools Payroll/Resource Center document management Write articles and communications to support training/support initiatives Develop and deliver specialized payroll training for other Sales Channels Develop and deliver ancillary product training Conduct new product research for training content Collaborate with stakeholders for new product launches and training events Conduct and facilitate product/feature launches Work with Payroll Sales Support team to identify trends and areas for additional training needs Develop Veteran Training Program for seasoned Heartland Payroll Sales Professionals Qualifications/ Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree preferred 2 years of experience preferred in sales or training 1 years of Payroll industry experience required Additional Success Factors Ability to handle multiple responsibilities, personalities, and tasks with limited supervision or guidance while staying within our core principles/practices Commitment to the success of salespeople through a variety learning preferences and receptiveness to ensure maximum effectiveness of training program Strong written and verbal communication skills Solid critical thinking and organization skills Strong documentation and problem resolution skills Comfortable presenting training instruction “live” and via conference call or webinar Comfortable in both group and 1 on 1 training situations Strong interpersonal skills with ability to motivate and inspire others Able to balance multiple projects with the ability to rearrange priorities on short notice Confident in providing constructive feedback to salespeople An entrepreneurial spirit that’s also able to collaborate with others Able to work within time constraints to learn a topic & deliver training quickly A self-learner who strives to be an expert in their field and their own growth and development Travel Required: NO, but may be offered occasionally as optional opportunities Physical Demands: This is a largely sedentary role.

Some light lifting may be required.

This position would require the ability to lift files, bend, and sit or stand for long periods during trainings as necessary.
