Agrace: Recruiter – Seasonal/Temp/Intern


This is a Contract position in City Of Middleton, WI posted June 8, 2021.

Overview The recruiter is responsible for supporting the recruitment and general HR functions, providing a high level of service to internal and external customers. Responsibilities Recruitment SupportSupport the recruitment process from initial position posting through on-boarding of new hires.Assist with advertising/posting of vacancies; participate in career fairs and coordinate Agrace hosted hiring events. Conduct phone interviews, coordinate interviews, and provide follow-up to candidates to ensure efficient recruitment processes. Complete pre-employment screening to include reference checks, background checks, and verifications of licenses, certifications, etc.Monitor and respond to messages from the recruiting email and phone systems.Prepare offer letters, welcome packets and other correspondence.Meet new employees to provide badges, equipment, new hire paperwork, benefits enrollment, etc. Assist with the coordination of the Human Resources and Agency Wide Orientation (AWO) programs; present at AWO as needed.Human Resource SupportConduct employment verifications. Enter position changes, terminations, etc in HRIS system. Communicate notifications.Maintain personnel files. Coordinate the retention and archiving of personnel records. Responsible for tracking, monitoring, coordinating and filing of employee-related documents (i.E. licenses and renewals, performance evaluations, etc.); communicate with employees and supervisors regarding outstanding documentation.Assist with coordination of reward and recognition activities and employee engagement.Order and maintain departmental supplies.Assist with internal and external meetings including scheduling, coordinating, preparing agendas, room preparation, attending and taking notes, preparing and distributing appropriate minutes. Initiate letters, memos, and other forms of communication; prepare presentation materials, including Power Point presentations.Provide regular office support at other Agrace locations.Responsible for printing and distribution of employee badges. Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and work experienceAssociate degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field, preferredTwo (2) years of work experience in an administrative support position.
