The role is integral to executing the Early Careers Recruiting strategy and will focus primarily on recruiting for Aon’s Apprenticeship program.

Aon is looking for an Early Careers Recruiter Apprentice ProgramAs part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting our apprentice program.

This role can be in either the Houston, TX office, Woodlands, TX office, or the San Francisco office.

You will report directly to the North American Head of Campus Recruitment and will not have direct reports.Job Responsibilities:Support the expansion of the Apprenticeship program to cities across the US, specifically in Houston and San FranciscoWork with business leaders to set and implement sourcing strategy this is a new program and career track, so proactive sourcing and relationship building with local non-profit organizations is key!Assess talent by sourcing, screening and conducting interviewsCommunicate regularly with business leaders and HR leaders Manage and track candidates using our ATS (we us iCIMS!)Manage internal relationships with managersEnsure a seamless onboarding process, in partnership with our Operations teamCoordinate large interview days, inviting up to 40 candidates to interview onsiteFacilitate feedback sessions with hiring managersExtend offers and encourage students to join AonPotential opportunities to travel to other Aon offices to host interview days or attend recruitment events (Travel is minimal: about 3 weeks during March June)Leverage knowledge of Campus Recruiting to provide feedback to hiring teams for improvementsRequired Skills:At least 1 year of recruitment experienced preferred, ideal if in high volume or campus recruitingExperience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) we use iCIMSProficiency in Microsoft products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)To be successful in this role, you should already have or be working on the following skills:Flexibility and adaptability to shifting prioritiesAbility to ” Think outside of the box” and strategically approach problem resolutionA history of meeting tight (sometimes multiple) deadlinesA true desire to be proactive and persistent in your workAbility to use discretion and manage confidential, sensitive informationA tendency to be relationship-oriented (with candidates, recruiters, hiring managers, etc.) and collaborate as a team playerSolid time management skills that you can demonstrate in a quickly-changing landscapeWe offer youAcompetitivetotal rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with agrowingworldwide organization.Our Colleague Experience:From helping clients gain access to capital after natural disasters, to creating access to health care and retirement for millions, Aon colleagues empower results for our clients, communities, and each other every day.
