Ap/Payroll/ engineering assistant

This is a Full-time position in Tuscaloosa, AL posted June 8, 2019.

Payroll and Accounts Payable is responsible for processing, verifying and reconciling invoices and processing weekly payroll through Quickbooks.

This position will also be responsible for maintaining vendor and employee files and ensuring all records are up to date.

Engineering Assistant responsibilities include, listing projects in estimating program, preparing documents for bidding purposes , organizing and filing documents, establishing and maintaining a line of communication between the project manager answered our estimating department.

Responsibilities:Weekly payroll processingCertified payrollMaintain employee pay records, including set up for new hire and terminated employeesManage tax garnishment, child support payments, workman comp and all other payroll deductionsProcessing of manual checks including daily check runs, invoices & billing statements Generate Payroll ReportsAccounts Payable tasks including invoice entry and payment processingEnter new vendors and maintain as neededAll other duties as assigned Skills/Requirements:Payroll, Accounts Payable or related experience preferredStrong knowledge of QuickBooksConstruction background preferredSelf-motivated with positive attitude and strong work ethicDetail oriented, independent, self-starter and willingness to learnAbility to work in a fast-paced office, multi task and meet critical deadlinesStrong verbal and written communication skillsSchedule is Monday Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm
