This is a Full-time position in Arcade, NY posted October 12, 2021.

The HR Manager is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides comprehensive Human Resources support to our Arcade facility.

This role is a member of the site leadership team and is critical in executing our people initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be a consummate team player with the ability to leverage a shared service approach to HR while partnering with the local leadership team to create and drive the local people strategy.The HR Manager in Arcade will be expected to provide great internal customer support and take a high-touch approach to driving HR functional and process improvement.Responsibilities:Set objectives for the HR function locally and track progressCreate and drive a local staffing strategyMonitor internal HR systems and databasesReview and approve or modify budgetsDesign and implement company policiesMonitor key HR metricsAct as a consultant to managers and staff regarding policies and proceduresCreate detailed reports on HR costsAddress employees’ queries (e.G.

on compensation and labor regulations)Maintain employee records, data and reporting with the highest degree of confidentialityStay current on state/federal employment law and ensure location complianceServe as primary contact for employee relationsCoordinate investigations and make recommendations regarding appropriate resolutionSupport supervisors and managers in handling conflict and facilitating difficult conversations.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in related field required; 7+ years of Human Resources leadership experience.

Prior experience supporting hourly and professional employee client groups (distribution or manufacturing preferred).Possess problem solving and analytical capability; experience of managing ambiguity and analyzing HR metrics to find root causes and develop short, medium and long-term plansKnowledge of employment law, compensation, benefits, employee relations, organizational design, & training and development.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Professionalism, accuracy, and timeliness are very important to this position, as well as being able to prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment.
