Job PurposeThe Human Resources Representative is responsible for a variety of Human Resources functions including but not limited to Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), employee benefits, employee relations, data entry & reporting and other projects as assigned.Key responsibilities include responding to employee questions and inquiries regarding Arbor’s benefit programs and human resources policies; entering data and reporting with our HRIS on ADP and Microsoft SharePoint; and facilitating the open enrollment process and reporting through ADP employee self-service.

This position will function as the backup to AVP, HR and Director of Benefit Administration.This position is an excellent opportunity to learn all aspects of Human Resources in a hands on environment.Essential Job Functions (Duties/Responsibilities)The Human Resources Representative will have the following duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to:Provides support to human resources function by serving as a liaison of HR related matters for the employees, handling critical HR record retention, and coordinating on-site and virtual HR training eventsEntry of critical Human Resources Information System (HRIS) data and running ad-hoc reports as requested (ADP Workforce Now is the current system of record)Data entry and maintenance of employee information on Microsoft SharePoint and uploading of documents onto the company’s intranet systemAssist with employee metrics and data analytics as it pertains to survey engagement tools and workforce management.

Use excel and other systems to pull together custom reports and dashboards for the business.Assist in benefit communication and aid in the onboarding/orientation process, including conducting new hire benefit seminarsHandle employee orientations, exit interviews, employee relations issues, and benefit inquiriesAssist with new hire & annual benefit open enrollment, communicating changes to employees, arranges for on-site representation by providers and conducts employee presentationsMonthly new hire benefit enrollment reporting to assist with benefit card information sheet mailings, and other benefit related projectsConduct employment verifications and provides employment verification letters as neededAssist in enrolling and terminating employees from various benefit plans.Handling of workers compensation claims, reporting, and premiumsMust learn in depth all our benefit plans to be able to assist the Director of BenefitsOther special projects as assignedQualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related discipline.

PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.Experience: 1-2 years of progressive experience in Human Resources preferred.

Education and related technical experience will also be considered in lieu of progressive HR experience.

Candidates with a strong technology background and interest in getting into Human Resources will be considered as well.

Real estate or financial services experience is a plus.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Must have strong customer service, organizational, multi-tasking, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to organize and effectively prioritize responsibilities.

As well as adapt and be trained on software tools for data entry and reporting (I.E., ADP, SharePoint, Excel, etc.)Strong and adaptable technical skills for data entry, system maintenance, and reporting.Proficient with MS Excel, Outlook, and Word.

” VLOOKUP” & other Excel formula knowledge a plus.Knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems.

ADP a plus, as well as Applicant Tracking systems (ATS) and other related technology.
