Title: Assistant – Human Resources

Reports to:Human Resources Director (Chemaid+ Acupac)

Department: Human Resources

Supervises: N/A

Organizational Relationships:

Interfaces with all employee groups, as well as customers, vendors and visitors.

Basic Function:

This role will support HR activities including HRIS entry, special projects and other administrative duties. The HR Assistant is a hands-on position that plays a critical role in the effectiveness of the HR function.

Responsibilities:

•Ability to handle priorities and work effectively in a fast- paced environment

•Identify staff vacancies source and recruit, interview and select applicants

•Manage the various sourcing channels and the company’s talent pool and regularly interacting with both active and passive candidates.

•Prepare new hire orientation materials, update informational material, etc.

  • Assist with planning and coordination of employee activities.
  • Create employee files and maintain the electronic and physical filing system; ensure all personnel, benefits, and training records are filed correctly and kept confidential.

•Maintain accurate personnel records with related information as required by state and federal legislations

•Identify, collect, and file any missing data

  • Sort incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail
  • Complete and file bank validation form and submit to institution
  • Prepare and publish memo on various means of communication
  • Provide clerical support to HR team and to VPGM, as needed

•Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma.

•3 to 5 years relevant experience in an HR function (internships included)

•Previous experience with HR systems (Ceridian Dayforce) preferred

•Excellent oral and written communication skills

•Interpersonal communication skills

•Basic knowledge of HR documents and filing systems

•Familiarity with sourcing tools, HR systems (including an ATS) and candidate management systems

•Intermediate Microsoft software experience

•Organization, Diplomacy and Professionalism

•Ability to follow through on projects independently

•Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus

•This position requires some traveling to another kdc/one site.
