In this position you will provide support to Chemistry technical and operations staff by ensuring project-related supplies, equipment, and other consumables are readily available.
This position is office based in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensures project-related supplies are available to operations staff in a reliable and timely manner.
Monitors correspondence to anticipate incoming requests.
Enters information and assumes responsibility for accuracy of data in the e-workbook database.
Coordinates resolution of reference standard/Blank issues with Principal Investigator/Study Director and lab staff.
Ensures reference standards/Blanks are stored appropriately and units are maintained.
Responsible for placing purchase orders for laboratory supplies and financial reconciliation of incoming orders.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education, Qualifications, and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in life sciences or chemistry
Minimum of 5 years of related experience
Knowledge of study design supply requirements in applicable Chemistry discipline
Proven organization, observation, and problem solving skills
Strong ability to work independently
