We are looking for an AVP, Human Resources who will be a key member of the HR leadership team at Molina Healthcare and report into the Chief HR Officer.

As an accomplished HR business leader you will be responsible for supporting approximately 1/3 of the employee population spanning multiple states to ensure the implementation of the human resources strategic plan.

This includes but is not limited to, organizational development, talent management, succession and workforce planning, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion and policy and program deployment to create a high-performing culture that aligns with Molina’s business goals and objectives.The ideal candidate must have demonstrated success in a multi-state organization with extensive knowledge regarding HR transformation and be an experienced change agent.

• Demonstrates success in a multi-state organization with extensive knowledge regarding HR transformation and be an experienced change agent.

Strong business acumen is required with the ability to drive for results and lead the organization through continuous improvement.
• Provides strategic direction and leadership to a diverse team of remote Human Resource Business Partners (HRBP) in developing and implementing HR strategy to provide an employee-orientated, high performance culture.
• Responsible for strategizing, formulating, developing, interpreting, and recommending employee relations program goals and objectives, policies, and procedures, and courses of action; manages the employee relations activities.

• Serves as a trusted resource and advisor to leadership and management regarding organizational and employee strategies.

• Builds and maintains strong relationships with employees and management to create an environment of trust, accountability, and open communication for all employees.
• Assists in developing organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributes information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction; establishes human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives.
• Provides guidance and consultation on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
• Analyzes trends and metrics.

Communicates needs proactively with our HR department and business management, to develop integrated solutions.

• Formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added services to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.

• Maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit’s financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition.

• Dynamic and thoughtful leader with a collaborative and influential leadership style, the ability to inspire others into action and to think creatively about solutions.
• Ability to travel to assigned site locations.

Job QualificationsRequired EducationBachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.Required Experience
• 10 years Human Resources experience with at least 5 years in employee and/or labor relations
• 5 years supervisory experience.Preferred Experience
• Supervision of remote staff members is preferred.Preferred License, Certification, Association
