Bookkeeping/Human Resources Assistant


This is a Full-time position in Brunswick, OH posted June 7, 2021.

The Bookkeeping and Human Resource Assistant is responsible for assisting with the daily bookkeeping and human resources needs of the organization.

This position reports to the Vice President of Compliance and Operations.

The Bookkeeping and Human Resource Assistant strives to provide exemplary customer service to internal and external customers while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
Essential Functions
Process vendor and customer account change requests, maintain customer/vendor accounts Collections Audit incoming invoices and other payment requests Credit card payment processing Vendor/employee commission calculation
Act as backup for;
Daily bank deposits Daily QBO/Bank Reconciliation Invoice Preparation Accounts Payable/Receivables Payroll
Human Resources
Entry/adjustments to time/attendance data
Data entry of payroll employee status changes i.e.

payrates, job titles, address changes Data entry of new hire benefit enrollments and salary and address changes on vendor sites Various employee appreciation tasks and tracking Payroll reporting and special projects
– Assorted projects as assigned by the Vice President of Compliance/Internal Operations
Desired Skills
QBO Online Payroll Excel Accounting knowledge a plus

Work environment
This is an in-office position at our Brunswick, OH offices.
Physical and Equipment Use
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.

Frequently communicate via telephone, email, messaging.

Walking occasionally.

Copier/Scanner use occasionally.

Travel Required
No overnight travel.
