JOB SUMMARY This position oversees the payroll process and performs related duties.

It reports to the Senior Manager HRIS/Payroll.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Oversees assigned payroll staff.

Prepares nursing contracts, stipends and substitute payments for data entry into system.

Checks math, signatures, and dates.

Contacts departments with problems or corrections.

Checks paper assignment contracts for math and correct pay level.

Reconciles processes pertaining to those contracts; resolves related issuesas needed.

Prepares payroll by entering related employee information, reviewing and correcting timesheets and absence records along with other payroll documents, running payroll processing transactions, and checking payroll prior to final calculations.

Includes checking timesheet math and signatures, absence records, and contacting employees and supervisors to clarify issues with timesheets.

Enters personnel action authorization form information for that respective payroll.

Enters wage related information.

Posts leave in payroll system and updates employee sick leave bank.

Performs leave roll overs and adjustments.
