Cyber Policy and Compliance Analyst, Senior

The Challenge:

Warnings about cyber threats are everywhere and the constantly evolving nature of these threats can make understanding them seem overwhelming to our Navy customers.

In all of this “cyber noise”, how can these organizations understand their risks and how to mitigate them?

The answer is you
– a cyber risk specialist who will break down complex threats into manageable plans of action.

As a cyber compliance and risk management consultant on our team, you’ll use your experience to work with Navy leaders to discover their cyber risks, understand applicable policies, and develop a mitigation plan.

You’ll review technical, environmental, and personnel details from subject matter experts to assess the entire threat landscape.

Then, you’ll guide your client through a plan of action with presentations, white papers, and milestones.

You’ll work with your client to translate security concepts so they can make the best decisions to secure their critical infrastructure.

You Have:

5+ years of experience with preparing RMF security authorization packages or legacy DIACAP packages

3+ years of experience as an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE)

Experience with analyzing the development of security assessment plans, security assessment reports, or risk assessment reports

Secret clearance

BA or BS degree
DoD 8570 IAM Level I or IAT Level II
Nice If You Have:

Experience in working with a Department of the Navy (DON) organization

Experience with preparing for enterprise-level inspections, including the Command Cyber Readiness Inspection (CCRI) or Cybersecurity Inspection (CSI)

Experience with DON RMF process guides and templates

Experience as a systems administrator for Windows, Linux, HP-UX, Macintosh, or other UNIX-based operating systems

Knowledge of Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows 7, Windows 10, RedHat Linux (RHEL) 5,6, and 7, Macintosh OSX, or HP-UX operating systems

Ability to navigate the management interface of network technologies, including firewalls, routers, and switches

Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) Level I, II, or III or legacy Fully Qualified Navy Validator (FQNV) Certification
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
