Director of Human Resources

This is a Full-time position in Atlanta, GA posted September 29, 2021.

The Director of Human Resources will direct all HR Operations, including recruitment and hiring, payroll and compensation, compliance, benefits, performance evaluations, training and development, and employee reprimands and terminations, while ensuring HR is aligned with our company’s culture and strategic plan with our policies and practices in partnership with operations.

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a proven and broad knowledge and experience in staff and organizational planning, employee relations, training and development, compensation, and compliance. A knowledge of ADP Total Source is a plus.


  • Manages recruiting, hiring, and retention strategies and succession planning process.
  • Directs the development and administration of company-wide human resources policies and practices in accordance with stated corporate objectives and state and federal legal requirements.
  • Directs the development and coordination of training programs, personal and career development, performance appraisal process, compensation systems, diversity and benefit programs.
  • Oversees management of controversial and sensitive staff issues.
  • Manages terminations and the exit interview process; develops systems for communicating gathered information to management.
  • Reviews and analyzes wage and salary reports and data to establish competitive compensation plans.
  • Oversees employee-relations activities and programs including but not limited to employee counseling, interpretation of policies, new employee orientation, and employee recognition programs.
  • Oversees a comprehensive review of the employee handbook.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years related experience or equivalent.
  • Thorough understanding of human resources principles and practices, including employment law, Affirmative Action, and EEO compliance.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
