Driver Recruiter

Paul Transportation Inc.

This is a Full-time position in Tulsa, OK posted June 8, 2021.

General Purpose:

Responsible for recruiting, interviewing and qualifying newly hired truck drivers.

Essential Duties:

  
·     Responsible for all driver recruiting efforts.

·       ?Interviewing, qualifying and recruiting newly hired drivers.

·       Determining the suitability of the applicant for employment.

In cases where an applicant is judged unqualified, tactfully turn the applicant away.

·       Identifying applicants that meet our hiring selection standards and review consumer reports:

o  Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check

o  Criminal Background

o  PSP

·       Enter applicant information into database system and forward links/releases to applicant.

·       Enter and review all driver applications; 5 years’ worth of employment history and all driving jobs for experienced drivers; Enter student employment history up to 5 years

·       Thorough understanding of the Company’s organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of employee handbook, policies and procedures and federal and state laws regarding employment practices and Department of Transportation Regulations.

·       Other duties as may be assigned.

·       Strong organizational and computer skills

·       Ability to multi-task.

·       Essential that established recruiting numbers be met.

·       Reliable attendance.

·       Be able to maintain confidential information.

 

Qualifications/Requirements

·     Preferably previous transportation recruiting experience

·      Strong Sales Skills.

·      Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
