Under the direction, guidance, and support of the Recruiting Team, the Recruiting Intern will support the recruitment and staffing process for Festival Foods stores and support offices.The Recruiting Intern will create an exceptional candidate experience that will “boomerang” candidates back to our stores while identifying top talent for opportunities at Festival Foods.Job Description:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Support and drive recruitment and hiring activitiesSource, attract, find, review and phone interview great talent to join the growing Festival Foods teamPost positions to the Festival Careers website and other recruitment sources; update and maintain postings to attract and source applicantsPre-screen candidates to ensure a Festival Foods guest-focused attitude prior to in-person interviewOrganize and execute candidate interview scheduling, ensuring a Festival brand experience for all potential candidates and hiring managersCoordinate recruitment needs and communicate progress with Recruiting TeamUtilize Applicant Tracking System to update job openings and applicant statuses per the recruitment procedureSearch for qualified candidates by attending job fairs and networking events with colleges and high schoolsOther duties as assignedRELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTSupervisory Relationships:Directly reports to the Director of Recruiting, indirect reporting relationship to Recruiting teamOrganization Relationships:Frequent contact with all Human Resource associates to provide administrative recruiting support, gain information, work on joint projects, and utilize expertiseQUALIFICATIONSEagerness to learn and share new ideas is requiredAbility to deal tactfully and effectively with leaders and all associatesExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to professionally represent Festival Foods via phone and in personProject management concepts and organization skills are strongly preferredCritical Thinking; using logic and reasoning to identify and rectify potential issuesDemonstrated knowledge of basic computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)Excellent Time Management skills; ability to manage one’sown time effectively to meet required deadlinesPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENTSitting/Standing at a computer 75% of the timeProfessional presence and proper phone etiquette is requiredFestival Foods serves guests in over 30 full-service, state-of-the-art supermarkets throughout Wisconsin.
