Job DescriptionThe Recruiting & Project Specialist is a key role on the U.S. Human Resources team. In this role you’ll be responsible for partnering with peers and business leadership across the organization to ensure we source, attract, and onboard the best and brightest talent.In this role you’ll be responsible for Full life cycle recruiting including: input and initiation of requisitions, review and interview candidates, manage candidate progression through the offer and hire process, and serve as the point of contact to candidates through their start date.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include, but are not limited to):Establish relationships with the Field HR and Leadership team to develop a core understanding of our business, roles, and resource needsPartner with hiring managers to understand the key duties and core competencies of an open position to develop a Job DescriptionPrepare Recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate boards or social mediaConduct initial screen of candidates (resume and/or phone screen) based on established criteria to determine is applicant’s potential fit for the role and organizationCoordinate hiring manager screens or team interviewsUsing recruiting tools to source passive job seekersEnsure a compliant and fair hiring practiceBring fresh ideas to ensure WireCo attracts the best candidates available in the market, and sparks interest from the passive job seekerReview and streamline processes and tools – embrace lean operations and drive continuous improvementBe accountable for our ATS, ensuring we don’t compromise on data quality, process flow and complianceAbility to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with tact and discretionLead Day 1 Orientation for all new hires in Prairie Village, KS office or Remote hiresDevelop recruitment analytics and project manage large hiring initiativesBe a WireCo brand ambassador!Support broader HR team on projects, as assignedQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or graduating within 1 semesterExcellent customer service skills, with the ability to manage internal and external customers, including candidates, network contacts, HR, and business leadersExcellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skillsStrong administrative and planning skills with demonstrated ability to establish priorities, multi-task, follow-up with sense of urgency and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Preferred QualificationPrior recruiting or human resources experienceExperience using ADP or SmartRecruiterGraduate or post-graduate degree in Business or HR-related field is preferredAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
