Our Client is seeking a Human Resource Generalist in Rancocas, NJ.


We are seeking a full time, high energy HR Generalist who will be responsible for all HR activities in our Rancocas, NJ corporate offices. We are a global leader in the vacuum and controlled atmosphere metallurgical furnace industry, manufacturing a variety of specialty melting and heating furnaces from our NJ location which provides product to a variety of industries including aerospace, power generation, petrochemical, biomedical, automotive and microelectronics.

Earn $40,000 to $45,000 per year at this full time, permanent position. Work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Job Description:

  • Administer various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel
  • Assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures
  • Prepare and maintain employee handbook and policies and procedures manual
  • Administer the compensation program
  • Monitor the performance evaluation program and revise as necessary
  • Perform benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefit information to employees
  • Develop and maintain affirmative action program
  • File EEO-1 report annually
  • Maintain other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations
  • Conduct recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students and temporary employees
  • Conduct new-employee orientations
  • Write and place advertisements
  • Handle employee relations counseling and exit interviewing
  • Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars
  • Maintain company organization charts and the employee directory
  • Maintain human resource information system records
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Job Requirements:


  • High School Degree or Equivalent (GED)
  • Some college is a plus
  • Minimum 3 years of Management experience in Human Resources
  • Professional Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred
  • Ability to effectively coach others through complex, difficult and emotional issues
  • Presentation skills
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and use discretion
  • Project and time management skills
  • Familiarity with HR/Payroll online systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word
  • Must submit to a post offer physical examination and drug screening
