Human Resource Manager

This is a Contract position in Detroit, MI posted September 16, 2020.

The Human Resource Manager is responsible for managing all HR functions and will act as primary and single point of contact as it relates to HR policies, procedures and employment matters.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate organization’s human resource function and identify process improvements.

Manage and oversee employment matters, including recruitment, benefits administration and employee relations, Manage employee performance management process and policies and matters of employee training and development Translate strategic and tactical business plans into HR strategic and operational plans Support company’s staffing strategies and programs to identify talent within and outside the corporation.

Manage employment matters for all corporate, remote and international staff members Collaborate with Company executives to define workforce planning strategies, succession planning and employee career development plans Support executive initiatives of the company in key areas of operations, finance and sales.

Assist executive team with strategic planning and forecasting, and enable Company to improve efficiency of its operations and further extend its competitive advantages Manage budgets and other financial measures of the Human Resources Department.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE: 5 years of experience in a human resources leadership role Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Human Resources or related field Knowledge of HR principals, practices, labor laws, and regulations Excellent discretion and judgment handling confidential information Strong organizational skills required Experience in matters of employee/independent contractor classification is preferred Experience with high volume recruiting is a plus Experience working in multinational organization is a plus Ability to analyze data and develop improvements and solutions Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
