Human Resources Administrator

This is a Full-time position in Holland, MI posted February 22, 2021.

Human Resources Administrator
Pay Rate: $18/Hr
Contract to perm opportunity

This Human Resource Administrator position will be responsible for performing various administrative duties to support the Human Resources team and terminal locations.

II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Enter personnel changes in HRIS system and ensure information is complete and accurate.
2. Work with Payroll and Labor to ensure union employees are paid correctly based on changes made in HRIS system.
3. Complete third-party requests for verification of employment, union disability, DOT information, etc.
4. Distribute department mail, faxes, and emails.
5. Scan and index Human Resource documents into Onbase.
6. Create and ship badges as request by the field.
7. Maintain and manage paid time off plans.
8. Run various weekly/monthly reports.
9. Work with third party temp services to fill temp positions within the company.
10. Handle unemployment claims.
11. Employee recognition for year of service and retirement.

III. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
1. Education and Experience
a. High School degree or equivalent
b. 3-5 years of Administrative experience
c. Experience working with Lawson or similar HRIS system
2. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
a. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
b. Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
c. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
d. Accomplish assignment confidently in a time sensitive environment
