Human Resources Associate

Anterix is seeking a personable and highly motivated Human Resources/Payroll Associate to support the HR department with Payroll and the day-to-day administrative tasks and activities.

They will also contribute to special projects as assigned.

In this role the HR and Payroll Associate will support talent acquisition, payroll, performance management, learning and development, leave of absence (LOA), employee engagement and coordination of HR policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Support talent acquisition activities, update job descriptions, coordinate, schedule, and confirm candidate interviews
Coordinate and assist with new hire orientations activities
Administer employee changes and new hire paperwork across all HR systems, reports and org charts
Manage and process Personnel Action Forms (PAF) to comply with payroll
Responsible for and manage the bi-weekly payroll, including all pre
– and post-controls and validation
Administer the processing of equity distributions, commissions, and bonuses.
Manage time tracking and PTO systems
Support any off-cycle payroll processing needed for corrections, 3rd party sick pay or other tax-related reporting.
Responsible for leave of absence administration, submit leave request, and the return-to-work notice to ADP
Manage, and track leave spreadsheet, track time off due to LOA, FMLA, Intermittent leave, Parental leave, and submit absence report to the Insperity Leave Administration team
Assist with the performance management process
Support DE&I awareness activities company-wide
Manage the HR Calendar and participate in planning and organizing company employee engagement and Lunch and Learn events
Special projects based on business priorities
Skills and Competencies
1-3 years of in Human Resources or a related field
A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, or related field
Good understanding of full cycle recruiting, familiarity with Applicant Tracking System ATS, and resume database helpful
Superior verbal skills with the ability to communicate internally and externally
Administrative and organizational skills
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task, act with a constant sense of urgency and flexibility in managing changing priorities
Ability to work in a team environment
Must be eager to learn, self-motivated, flexible, and accountable
Sensitivity dealing with confidential information
Ability to quickly learn programs and procedures
Experience working with a Professional Employer Organization (PEO)
Basic knowledge of U.S.

labor laws and compliance standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and Power Point
