Essential Functions: Acts as the first point of contact for employees and managers in answering day to day HR questions Processes annual requirements of 200 employees and provides status reports to management and staff to help facilitate completion of trainings and other cyclical initiatives Conducts new hire orientation and guides new hires through the onboarding process Participates in special projects to ensure in effective delivery of HR initiatives services Assists employees with health, dental, vision, flexible spending, retirement, short and long term disability and life insurance benefits Maintains 401K/403B administration, FMLA administration, and workers compensation claims and benefits Responds to all employment verification requests from government agencies and outside corporations Performs HRIS/ATS database management, including updating employee files to document personnel actions Prepares reports for regulatory bodies, management, or others, as needed Supports employee safety, engagement, and wellness initiatives Sound understanding and adoption of applicable laws and regulations as it relates to all aspects of HR Maintains effective internal and external customer service focus Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) AND five (5) years of Human Resources experience; OR Associates Degree with three (3) years of Human Resources experience; OR Bachelors Degree with one (1) year of experience Valued Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, Business Administration, or other related field Professional HR Certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) Salary: $50,000-$55,000 annually New hires who show proof of their completed COVID-19 vaccination will earn a sign on bonus on their first paycheck.
