Come be a part of our success.We are currently recruiting for a Human Resources Co-op to be based at one of our sawmills within our US Northwest Operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for human resources, recruitment and administration as this role will introduce you to various areas of operational Human Resources.What You’ll Do* Recruitment support including, posting jobs, short-listing, screening, interview support, coordinating pre-hire checks, offer letters and onboarding.* Administrative support for new employee documentation system.* Provide administrative support for various procedures and HR functions.* Prepare various HR documents, reports, and presentations.* Build effective working relationships with the operations and Human Resources teams.* Organize a wide range of duties effectively and efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality of work with constant interruptions.* Other duties are required.What You Offer* Currently working towards completion of a business degree with a concentration or major in Human Resources Management.* Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.* Intermediate skills with MS Office Suite, with emphasis on Microsoft Excel functions (e.g. formulas, pivot tables, conditional formatting, etc.).* Impeccable attention to detail and the ability to display tact, diplomacy and discretion in handling information of confidential and/or sensitive nature.* Ability to commute to Adams Lake 5 days per week.Interested in being a part of our team?
