Human Resources Coordinator

We are seeking a Human Resource Coordinator to add to our Eclaire Health team! The HR Coordinator will assist in tasks such as recruitment, HRIS, payroll and benefits, employee relations, and employee activities.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Coordinate the scheduling of interviews, email and confirm as needed, and ensure the hiring manager and the receptionist has the information.
  • Coordinate and track pre-employment screening requirements such as background checks.
  • Create and send applicant offer letters, obtain approval and signature from VP of HR, decline notifications, and tracks progress.
  • Assist with the new hire orientation process and facilitate a seamless new hire on-boarding process.
  • Audit new hire paperwork for accurate completion and timely processing.
  • Assist with payroll as needed.
  • Issue new hire welcome packets containing required payroll forms, I-9, benefits information, and other basic company information.
  • Act as a resource for new employee’s general questions.
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves, compensation, etc., and resolve issues and problems.
  • Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies, SOPs, and manuals.
  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form.
  • Assist in the creation of job descriptions and ensure updated as needed.
  • Create and update SOPs on HR processes.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).


Preferred Education and Experience

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of job-related experience, preferably in a human resource department; or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Experience with Paychex software preferred.
  • Applicants comfortable communicating in English and Spanish strongly preferred.



  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in an environment with large volumes of data and paperwork.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees.
  • Ability to execute tasks independently.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Displays professionalism through sound judgment, initiative, flexibility, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive data.
  • Ability to appropriately prioritize tasks and provide detailed documentation/follow-ups.
  • Works effectively under stress.
  • Must be self-motivated and comfortable working with deadlines.

Work Environment

This position works in the manufacturing facility with routine exposure to loud noise, sanitation chemicals, and allergens such as, but not limited to, nuts, dairy, soy, eggs, fish, and wheat.
