Human Resources Coordinator

Human Resources Coordinator

As an HR Coordinator, you will play a significant role in facilitating HR, recruitment, and administrative functions for the company. Leveraging strong communication and people skills, you will use your knowledge of Human Resources and attention to detail to support the growth and development of the whole team. This position requires strategic thinking and a high level of collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams, including operations, legal, and research and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate frequently with hiring managers and candidates, and liaise communication with recruitment
  • Coordinate all interview scheduling, confirmations, and ensure delivery of itineraries with all interview materials
  • Oversee final stages of recruitment including reference checks and offer letter drafting
  • Conduct new hire orientations and ensure all new hire paperwork are completed timely
  • Handle general on-boarding and off-boarding tasks
  • Completes employment verification requests
  • Maintain records of personnel-related data in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met
  • Process all benefit enrollments, changes and terminations
  • Update pay changes and benefit deductions
  • Assist in ad-hoc HR projects, like collection of employee feedback
  • Perform annual audit on personnel files and I-9 files
  • Performs other duties as needed

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Communications, or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proven experience as an HR coordinator or relevant human resources/administrative position
  • Ability to work with an applicant tracking system, and direct experience coordinating complex interviews
  • Basic understanding of recruitment principles, and experience coordinating/confirming interviews
  • General knowledge of Human Resources and HR best practices
  • Strong administrative background and ability to handle confidential information
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite and Google Suite
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and quickly adapt to changes

Huge plus (but not required):

  • Experience with applicant tracking system Greenhouse
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certified
