Human Resources Coordinator Bilingual

The Human Resources Coordinator is heavily involved and responsible for the recruiting and on-boarding of candidates. Additional responsibilities involve benefits administration, and other Human Resources duties as determined by the Director of Human Resources.

Reports to Director of Human Resources

Hours 8-5pm Monday through Friday

Wage Hourly/Full Time

Job Duties

  • Using a variety of recruiting sites post, update, and monitor open job positions
  • Communicate with applicants via phone and recruit the best candidates
  • Draft and extend offer letters when applicable
  • Facilitate E-Verify & I9 checks, criminal background checks, and drug screening for new employees
  • Prepares data reports on hiring statistics
  • Track and enroll employees in benefits during enrollment periods
  • Enroll in and update employees medical/dental/vision benefits during specific time windows
  • Maintains administrative files, including onboarding and offboarding documentation
  • Assist with the administration of our benefits plans, including health, life, disability, dental and 401k plans, including document preparation for enrollment, modifications, and cancellation.
  • Provides support in various day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department, including assisting in the coordination of various office functions, employee relations, and processing of personnel changes
  • Assist in the response to routine employee requests and questions.
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Must be bilingual in both written and spoken forms of English and Spanish to be considered
  • 2 years of recruiting experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detailed orientated with strong follow-up skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Programs (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Ability to multi-task as a team player
  • Handle confidential information with complete integrity
  • aPHR or ability to obtain aPHR within 1 year of employment
