Human Resources Generalist Contract to HireLocation: Mission Hills, 91345 Hours: Mon-Fri: 8:00AM – 5:00PM Description:We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to perform a wide range of duties as assigned by the HR team. Act as primary point of contact for caregivers and core leaders for HR and employment related matters. Serve as a trusted advisor and advocate for caregivers and core leaders. Facilitate resolution for HR related concerns. Support HR team to provide solutions and outcomes to address caregiver and core leader needs. Support implementation of HR programs and processes.In this position you will have the following responsibilities:Manage specific projects as assigned.Provide support for inquiries of policy and/or contract interpretation.Build complex reports upon request and provides insight on HR analytics and metrics.Resolve problems relating to organizational policies and procedures.Address Employee Relations issues such as harassment allegations, work complaints or other caregiver concerns under guidance of HR business partner.Facilitate and provides training and assistance to caregivers on HR related matters.Facilitate collection of data for grievance or legal information requests.Represents ministry in regulatory audits and surveys.Coordinates unemployment activitiesJob Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.PHR and/or SHRM-CP Certification preferred.Minimum of 3-5 years of prior of Human Resources experience required, preferably in a Human Resources Generalist or Coordinator role.Excellent multi-tasking and customer service experienceIntermediate (or better) knowledge of the MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)High level of interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast paced environmentOperates with professionalism, discretion and strict confidentiality in all aspects of duties performedHighly organized, self-starting, self-reliant, highly motivated and dependableEfficient in time-management and ability to organize and prioritize tasksTechnological savvy and comfort in learning new computer systems and programsExcellent telephone and oral communication skills
