Human Resources Generalist


This is a Contract position in Mercer Island, WA posted October 20, 2020.

Rate: $20/Hr on W2
Human Resources Generalist
Number of Weeks:  13 Weeks

Location:  Mercer Island, WA 98040

Shift: 8:30 to 5pm Mon to Fri


Job Description:

We are searching for temporary support for our Continuing Care Retirement Community located on Mercer Island, WA. This role is required to be onsite daily.

Here are tactics of the role while filling in for a leave:

  • Boots on the ground role – NO work from home option
  • Employee relations (25%)
  • Leave management
  • COVID leadership (testing, employee issues, leaves, fear management, documentation, compliance, intake questionnaires for employee cases or suspected cases, employee tracking log) (25%)
  • Recruiting, onboarding, orientation of new hires
  • Resource for compliance audits, surveys, investigations, infection control surveys
  • Onboard and supervise HR Assistant
  • Campus wide effort management (training compliance, retention plan preparation, merit / performance cycle, open enrollment process)

  • Investigate employee complaints related to employee relations issues
  • Support the administration of employee benefits, worker’s compensation and employee relations
  • Assist with employee relations issues
  • Affecting employee benefits or claims
  • Redirect employee questions regarding benefits
  • Assist in employee relations issues
  • Respond to employee relations issues
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues
  • Provide support with employee relations
  • Managing employee records, compensation and benefits
  • Presenting new employee orientation programs
