This position carries out responsiblities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding new hires, policy implementation, recruitment, and employment law compliance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Knowledge of legal requirements to ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.

Recommends new approaches for continual improvement in efficiency of the department and services performed.

Assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.

Recruits, interviews, tests and selects candidates to fill vacant positions.

Consults with management to resolve employee relations issues appropriately.

Facilitates training for employees and management in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance reviews, safety and workers compensation.

Assists with benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting and communicating benefit information to employees.

Maintains HRIS and ATS records and compiles reports.

Participates in team meetings.

Maintains company organizational charts.

Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 5-7 years experience in human resources.

Current SHRM-CP or PHR certification Able to handle multiple priorities effectively while demonstrating interpersonal and political savviness.

Excellent written and verbal skills for effective communication and the ability to facilitate presentations as needed.

Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office, etc.
