Some of the things you will do as a Human Resources Generalist
  • Recruiting for Salaried and Hourly positions.
  • Maintains Newton Applicant and FMLA Tracking Systems.
  • Assist in maintenance of Paycor System.
  • Conducts new employee orientations.
  • Communicate benefit plan changes, reminders, and other personnel related matters to appropriate staff.
  • Answers routine inquiries from inside and outside the company on employment verifications, benefits administration processing, and job openings.
  • Work closely with Director of Safety and Vice President of Human Resources to document incidents and injury for OSHA log and posting requirements.
  • Counsel employees on benefit plan provisions. 
What education and experience you will bring to HCL
  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and experience.
  • Possesses 2 – 4 years of Human Resources related experience.
  • Must have ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint at a high level.
  • Ability to work independently and as an effective team member.
  • Demonstrate the ability to think both analytically and creatively.
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to communicate confidently, clearly, and effectively.
  • Inbound/Outbound phone work.
