Human Resources Generalist

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce’s client, a New York City-based Iconic real estate leader is currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist.   • In this role, the Human Resources Generalist will act as point of contact for day-to-day HR and Benefit questions
  • Manage talent acquisition life cycle to including job postings, sourcing of applicants, conducting phone screens, coordinating office interviews, gathering feedback, and conducting background checks; This should be approximate 30% of the time
  • Source talent using channels such as LinkedIn, job boards, social media, etc.
  • Manage new hire onboarding to ensure all new employees have a positive experience
  • The Human Resources Generalist will run ad-hoc and regular reporting (headcount, terminations, new hires, promotions, etc.) using Excel
  • Ensure compliance with training and policy acknowledgements, including regular reminders and follow-up
  • Identify improvements to workflows to increase efficiency
  • Contribute to projects such as employee engagement, diversity and inclusion initiatives, employee communications and talent management
  • Provide planning support for internal events: happy hours, celebrations, company outings, team building, etc.
  • As a Human Resources Generalist, you will maintain and oversee employee’s files and internal HR documentation

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or similar major, along with 2+ years of related experience
  • Excellent Excel skills, including pivot tables
  • Ability to gather, consolidate, and analytically processes information
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local Human Resources regulations
  • Trustworthy, reliable, and accessible point of contact for employees
  • Results-oriented and willing to work hard to achieve the goal
  • Ability to work with direction, manage own time and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills and comfort communicating at all levels of the organization with confidence
  • A fast learner, with a can-do attitude and a calm professional demeanor
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills including planning, prioritization and follow up
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders
  • ADP Workforce Now experience preferred
