Paid holidays, vacation time, educational assistance program, and more ABOUT THE JOB: The Human Resources Specialist supports the Human Resources Manager by handling assigned human resources functions at the distribution center level.

PREFERRED qualifications for this position include: PeopleSoft experience.

Coordinate job requisitions and develop effective recruitment strategies with managers.

Review and screen applications and resumes; communicate application status to applicants.

PeopleSoft experience is preferred for this position.

Approve background checks; verify drug tests and physical results.

Coordinate, observe, and provide assistance for various training programs.

Monitor and track FMLA and STD eligibility and attendance records, worker’s compensation activities, educational reimbursements, and payroll deductions.

This position has additional duties; special projects may be assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree.

2 years of human resources experience.

Hands-on experience in training and coaching.

Knowledge and experience with safety practice guidelines.

Strong Microsoft Office skills.
