Human Resources Generalist

Tactile Systems Technology, Inc.

This is a Full-time position in Minneapolis, MN posted June 9, 2021.

The HR Generalist is a key member of our Talent team and is responsible for supporting the day-to-day HR Talent operations including but not limited to, performance management, employee and leader relations, training administration and employee development.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day support to the HR Business PartnersCollaborate with business partners in planning staffing needs.

This includes succession planning, department structure, job design and creation of job descriptionsSupport Tactile’s people leaders with employee relations and performance management issues in partnership with HR Leadership.

Provide guidance, support, and recommendations for the resolutionPartner with supervisors on performance improvement plans and monitoring of progress; provide guidance and direction on corrective actionsPartner with the benefits team on LOA performance management issues that require legal consultingSupport initiatives to increase productivity, employee performance, and employee engagement and partner with HR leadership to design and implement programs to drive resultsFacilitate timely resolution of escalations from our HR Service CenterConduct investigations on employee complaints that could result in legal ramifications or organizational exposure; assess the severity, involve appropriate individuals and facilitate appropriate action based on established practice and relevant lawsManage the development and coordination of employee recognition programsPartner with HR leadership to identify and coordinate development and training opportunities for employees to facilitate the growth and development of Tactile Medical talentIdentify and drive process improvement efforts, leveraging systems and tools to automate and eliminate manual work where possibleSupport activities associated with Tactile’s annual performance management process (e.g.

goal setting, annual reviews, development planning) to ensure utilization of tools by management to achieve business resultsSupport and champion an inclusive and diverse culture aligned to Tactile’s vision, mission & valuesSeek opportunities and assess improvements to the employee experience and partner with management to create and implement creative and lasting solutionsOther duties as assigned
Education & Experience:

Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education.4+ years of HR experience with at least 2 years’ experience objectively guiding employees and leaders through difficult issuesPrevious experience partnering with leaders on employee relations and performance issuesPrevious experience creating job descriptions
Preferred:
HR certificationPrevious experience using Predictive Index
