Human Resources (HR) Manager

Compensation: $55000.00 to $65000.00 yearly

  • Creates and processes personnel action forms.
  • Creates benefit and employee folders, maintains and/or updates employment records related to new hires, changes, and terminations.
  • Records and tracks future dated incentives to ensure they are delivered as promised.
  • Assist with the recruiting process such as;
  • o Setting up online testing and recording results
  • o Help maintain status boards and recruiting spreadsheets
  • o Schedule and conduct HR phone interviews.
  • o Maintain Applicant Tracking Logs
  • Protects organization’s value by strict adherence in keeping information confidential and maintaining all records in accordance to departmental procedures.
  • May be tasked with providing backup coverage to the payroll processor.
  • Domestic insurance administration which includes:
  • o Process new enrollments, terminations, and/or changes.
  • o Communicate insurance deduction rate changes to payroll.
  • o Accurately respond to employee questions regarding coverage, insurance options, and when elections/changes can be made.
  • o Assist with annual open enrollment.
  • Responsible for handling workers comp injuries, reporting, and OSHA logs.
  • Regularly update assigned internal, government or compliance related spreadsheets.
  • Send out employee review notices and track outstanding appraisals to make sure they are performed in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for employee engagement programs (new hire & birthday cards, service awards, and PTO increase schedules).
  • Administrative tasks and responsibilities including answering the phone, creating labels, etc.
  • Remove and store files in accordance with retention policies.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
  • 2+ Years of non-management Human Resources experience.
  • Knowledge of administrative tasks and responsibilities.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Paychex, Gallagher, ADP
  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
