Summary Of Job Responsibilities   :

This position supports one of our businesses based in Denver.

The HR Manager carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, HR compliance.

The HR Managers responsibilities are varied and complex requiring a high degree of confidentiality, discretion, independent judgment, and initiative.

Position reports to HR Director.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR support to all departments and business lines in core HR areas, including department initiatives, talent management, recruitment, onboarding and engagement
  • Assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual.
  • Manage and execute talent acquisition plan aligned with business objectives by using traditional and non-traditional recruitment sources that attract qualified diverse candidates to the organization
  • Create a robust onboarding program for all new hires to help expedite their assimilation into the organization
  • Evaluate and address a variety of HR issues and escalate as appropriate
  • Provide guidance to business partners on the performance management process, including communication and support to supervisors and employees about the process and any appropriate performance management steps
  • Develop, implement and ensure compliance with mandatory regulatory reporting, including but not limited to reporting required pursuant to federal law
  • Partner with EH&S Leader to coordinate safety programs and training
  • Manage and maintain all worker’s comp, benefit plans, FMLA, disability claims, as well as workplace accommodations
  • Complete special projects by clarifying project objectives, setting deadlines and schedules, conducting research, developing and organizing information, and producing results

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors in Human Resources or other related discipline
  • 2-5 years HR experience preferably in Manufacturing environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills as well as high proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of employment regulations and typical human resources procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, and meet deadlines
  • The estimated compensation for this position is between $75
    – $95k .

    This position may also be eligible for a performance based bonus.
