Formal Job Description: The HR Manager responsibilities includeDeveloping and administering human resources plans and procedures that relate to company personnelPlanning, organizing, and controlling the activities and actions of the HR departmentContributing to the development of HR department goals, objectives, and systemsThese responsibilities involve achieving the following tasks:Implementing and revising a company’s compensation programCreating and revising job descriptionsConducting annual salary surveysDeveloping, analyzing, and updating the company’s salary budgetDeveloping, analyzing and updating the company’s evaluation programDeveloping, revising, and recommending personnel policies and proceduresMaintaining and revising the company’s handbook on policies and proceduresPerforming benefits administrationMaintaining affirmative action programsCoordinate and manage immigration cases with outside immigration partners to ensure complianceAssist with recruitment efforts for all personnel, including writing and placing job adsConducting new employee orientations and employee relations counselingPerforming exit interviewsMaintaining department records and reportsMaintaining company directory and other organizational chartsRecommending new policies, approaches, and proceduresREQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree, preferably in HR management or Business Administration with a concentration in Human resources. Professional certification a plus
