Are you a dynamic Human Resources/Office Manager looking to work in a fast paced and fun environment?

In alignment with the waterpark’s vision and mission and organizational values, the Human Resources/Office Manager will act as a strategic partner and assist with creating a positive work environment.

The HR/Office Manager supports all departments in their area of responsibility in order for them to deliver memorable experiences to both guests and peers.

The HR/Office Manager ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state employment laws and requirements.

Specific Functions:
Recruit, interview, and hire staff for all departments to the needed required levels.
Assist with seasonal supervisory training programs for Directors, Managers and Supervisors.
Conduct Company-wide seasonal orientation programs for all Employees.
Assist with Workplace Safety initiatives.
Work to create a cohesive, recognizable culture that Employees gravitate towards.
Oversee all on-site and off-site seasonal job fairs.
Coordinate and oversee International Employee programs through J1 and H-2B visa programs.
Enter all employee data into the payroll system.
Facilitate weekly payroll for all employees
Oversee the seasonal HR and Cash Room staff
In-season training of cashiers on cash handling
Responsible to verify Deposit vs.

POS
Maintain uniform inventory and ordering.
Update and communicate any and all revisions to policies, systems and procedures.
Job Qualifications:
Ability to read, write, analyze and interpret general business journals, procedures, and government regulations.

Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from groups and/or individual employees and managers.
Basic math skills required.
Moderate to strong computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other applicable software programs.
Experience/Education/Certification Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or a minimum 3-5 years of experience in HR field and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience in Human Resources field preferred.
HR Certification in SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR preferred
Work Conditions and Schedule:
Exposure to extreme temperatures and weather should be expected work will occasionally occur outdoors.
Flexible schedule including weekends and holiday availability
During peak seasons, the schedule may require a work week schedule over 40 hours per week, including nights.
