Human Resources Officer

A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Officer to join our team located in St Paul, Minnesota.

Due to our continued growth and success we seek an applicant to complement our HR Team and assist with a broad range of Human Resources activities.

The HR Officer is to provide day to day HR support in the corporate business unit in accordance with company requirements.

This position will directly report to the HR Manager whilst providing day to day support to the company President.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to; guiding and maintaining company policies and procedures, providing support and resolution for employee complaints or grievances, administering employee records, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, recommending and coordinating employee training activities and providing guidance and support on compensation, benefits and performance programs.

The position will be offered on a temporary basis with a review of longevity after 3 months.

The successful candidate will hold the following experience, qualifications and attributes: Minimum 1-3 years’ previous experience in a HR Generalist or HR Officer role Sound knowledge of HR procedures and policies Sound knowledge of HR federal laws and regulations A bachelor’s degree in human resources or related degree Knowledge in using MS Office, HRIS systems and comfortable learning new technical systems as required Strong organizational skills Strong detail-oriented and resourceful mindset Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to learn, understand and apply changing technologies Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude Strong one-on-one interpersonal skills Set priorities and meet deadlines Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness For your opportunity to join a fast paced and reputable company in a growing dynamic role please send your resume for consideration and review.
