Human Resources Specialist


This is a Contract position in Lawrenceville, GA posted November 8, 2019.

As an HR Specialist, you will: Provide HR support to the North American Synamedia employee and manager populations by advising on policy interpretation, guaranteeing data integrity in HR systems, and supporting benefits processes.

Duties/Responsibilities Serve as first point of contact for all employee questions associated with HR policies, practices, and systems; Interpreting human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards and explaining them to employees; Partnering with the Recruiting organization, support the new employee orientation and on-boarding processes; Track immigration case status and solicit required information from managers and employees where data is needed to support initial visa approval, visa renewal and permanent residence cases; Coordinate with payroll as needed to support employee queries; Analyze employee census data to review and submit for approval standard benefits vendor payments; Assist employees with benefits-related questions which are escalated from the external benefits vendors; Generate reports as needed to support regional and global initiatives; Coordinates and executes employee engagement activities to include town halls and other employee events; Perform various administrative and clerical functions for the HR Department including but not limited to creating and distributing site announcements and bulletin board communications; and Support data gathering from exit interviews.

Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.

PHR Certification desired.

Minimum of 3 years of HR experience in a fast-paced, high tech environment with experience across multiple HR functional disciplines.
