Summary:
The Human Resources Specialist handles and provides support for various HR functions for CHRISTUS Ochsner Health Southwestern Louisiana including, but not limited to, management of Associate personnel files, agency contract staff, non-employed healthcare providers; serves as initial point of contact for coordination of new agency staff & allied health staff; manages the license verification/certification process; manages termination reporting to Louisiana Workforce Commission and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education:
Associates degree preferred, or equivalent training/experience is required
Experience/Skills:
· 3-5 years of HR experience preferred
· General knowledge of employment laws and practices
· Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong interpersonal and organization skills and attention to detail. Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office
