Job Summary Lumens internship program is a 10 week, fast-paced and exciting opportunity to gain professional experience within your field of study and career interest.

Interns within the Human Resources team will be part of an accelerated learning experience, to challenge skills learned in the classroom and develop new skills while working on active Lumen work projects.

The internship will take place in Broomfield, CO.

In addition, interns will connect to our company culture through community outreach projects, engage with our employee resource groups and be able to develop their professional skills and business acumen through frequent exposure to senior leadership, cutting-edge technology, groundbreaking projects, and a network of mentors and fellow interns.

Come Intern with us and create the beginnings of a career right for YOU Job Description / Responsibilities Job Description / Responsibilities Interface and partner with all levels of employees Accomplish multiple projects simultaneously Assist with planning of training events Provide best in class customer service Provide analytical support Assist with recurring reporting activities Assist with basic instructional design Prepare and organize presentation slides and storyboards Use intermediate and advanced functions in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Structure and convey information in verbal and written presentation formats Research and collect data for various HR initiatives Network with internal and external constituents Assist with web development Other duties as assigned In addition to responsibilities, the HR Intern position includes potential opportunities in the following areas: Talent Management Organizational Development Compensation Talent Acquisition Employee Relations Labor Relations Project Management Analytics Employee Experience Talent Development HR Shared Services Qualifications Pursuing a Masters degree in Human Resources and Business Administration & Management majors or similar degree program.

Graduating January 2021 through May 2021.

– Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university; senior level education status at the start of the internship
– Must have transportation to/from work daily
– Must be available to work 30 40 hours, during the specified 10-week timeframe (June 1 August 13, 2021).

– Ability to handle confidential information
– Proficient Microsoft Office and computer skills
– Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
– Highly motivated, organized, reliable, and detailed oriented
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Quick learner and capable of multitasking
– Flexible and adapts well to change
– Professional appearance and attitude
– Preferred GPA 3.0.
