IT Policy Manager


This is a Full-time position in Erdenheim, PA posted June 11, 2021.

Job Summary We are looking for a hands-on IT Manager with a background in desktop, systems, and network administration. The ideal candidate will also have experience in network engineeringconsulting and be capable of handling customer service tickets andor project tasks in a fast-paced environment. Under the supervision of the IT Service Manager the IT Manager will work hand in hand with the IT Service Team and Project Engineers to maximize efficiency of the entire IT Service department. The focus of this role is to be the master handler of front-line tickets, end-user created support requests, and coordinating schedules of client-site and small project-based work for the team. While the IT Manager will have no direct reports to manage, we expect them to take ownership of the teamrsquos workflow and be the ultimate resource for the team of technicians, including escalatingassigning work as needed. This person will be responsible for keeping the team on track to meet deadlinesgoals, and intimately familiar with IT SOPrsquos, updating them frequently as necessary and communicating those updates to the Team and Management. Competencies Exceptional customer service skills. Provide quality consultative advice to customers. Good verbalwritten communication skills and should be capable of relating technical information to different types of individuals. Self-motivated and ability to multi-task. Able to set priorities and meet individual deadlines while accomplishing team objectives. Able to resolve customer issues appropriately and in a timely manner. Able to develop and maintain effective, positive internalexternal working relationships. Tackling difficult and complex problems independently and as a team Ability to Follow SOP and assist in construction of Standard Operating Procedures Coordinate the schedule of work for technical team members. Job Qualifications Education Bachelor’s Degree, Technical school, or related certifications (CCNA or equivalent, Network+, etc) Experience Previous Call Center, Help Desk, NOC, or customer service-oriented position is a plus At least 4 yearsrsquo ExperienceKnowledge working in many of the following Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019 Active Directory, FilePrint Services Desktop support Troubleshooting (Win7, Win10, Apple) TCPIP, DHCP, DNS DNS record management ndash MX, SPF Web Servers (IIS, Apache) a major plus Network Fundamentals, Switching and Routing, Layer2Layer3 switching Network Design, Visio, and Documentation Skills OSI Model Virtualization (VMware, HyperV) Exchange, Office 365, Google G Suite a plus Email Security Systems (Filtering, Secure Messaging, DLP) Firewall technologies (i.e. Cisco, SonicWALL, FortiGate), VPN VOIP, QoS a major plus SQL Administration Performance Tuning a major plus Linux Apache, phpMyAdmin, hardening a major plus StorageSAN technology a major plus Vendor liaison support Infrastructure and Operations support to App Developers Requirements Valid Driver’s License Own Vehicle for Transportation tofrom Client Sites Valid Car Insurance Must be willing to commute to Erdenheim, PA (this is not a remote position) Must be willing to visit client sites Must have ability to lift up to 50lbs of technical equipment NO RECRUITERS PLEASE
