Lead Recruiter Job Locations US-CA-Huntington Beach ID 2019-3312 Overview Element has an opportunity for a Lead Recruiter who will be primarily responsible for leading a team of recruiters in our Western Americas Region whilst also managing their own requisition workload.

The ideal candidate will have a prior track record of effectively managing remote teams, recruiting the top talent, advising managers and ensuring the successful on-boarding of new hires.

Responsibilities Communicate vision and priorities throughout the organization to ensure the alignment of all recruitment activities to the overall business long-term strategy Mentor and develop team to deliver on promises and exceeds expectations Provide outstanding customer service to ensure a positive applicant experience regardless of whether or not the applicant joins the organization Partner with the Global Recruitment Director, business leadership and HR to provide recruitment strategy and support in line with departmental and organizational objectives Build and maintain effective business relationships with Senior Leadersip and Hiring Managers Develop effective and cost efficient recruitment strategies to support, resolve and fulfil department / business resourcing needs and provide solutions to skill shortages by creating action plans Responsible for sourcing, screening, and selection activities, both internally and externally, from initial notification of the vacancy to the time the candidate joins the company Present the company as the “employer of choice” by creating compelling, meaningful, and intelligent job advertisements and professional marketing materials Lead regular Recruitment Operations Reviews with Senior Management and drive accountability for prompt feedback to ensure a positive candidate experience Liaise with Human Resources and Manager on remuneration issues as necessary such that all compensation, benefit and employment legislation issues are addressed Utilise appropriate selection and recruitment tools to ensure that personnel are recruited in the most cost effective manner Utilize social media and creative sourcing resources to aggressively target top active and passive talent throughout the industry Plan and organize recruitment events, Recruitment Open Houses, and attend career fairs / exhibitions and other professional networking events Conduct selection interviews, assisting line management in the decision making process Assist managers with making offers of employment using effective negotiation skills to ensure that offers are accepted and selected applicants become new starters Manage recruitment process and maintain up to date / accurate data in the company applicant tracking system Build lasting and mutually beneficial relationships with candidates, hiring managers and recruiters to enable the delivery of high quality service and information in an accurate, efficient, timely and cost effective manner Skills / Qualifications 7 years’ experience recruiting for global multinational companies Prior remote leadership experience within a multi-national organisation Prior track record of excellent customer service and strong teamwork with the ability of working autonomously Confident leader with proven interpersonal and communication skills, which can be demonstrated at all levels of the business Proven ability to develop, influence and motive teams Ability to speak, read and write Spanish at a conversational level Proven capability of managing workload in a high-paced environment Demonstrated effective networking skills and direct sourcing strategies Experience working with applicant tracking systems and recruitment processes Strong IT skills to manipulate, format and present data in meaningful reports to make educated business decisions A high level of numeracy and commercial awareness is essential A good knowledge of compensation and benefit practices High levels of initiative and “get up and go” to manage own work flow to meet objectives A capacity for persistence and resilience and patience in a sometimes challenging environment Desire to learn and drive for continuous improvement An appreciation of the value of team work and willingness to work as part of a team, providing support for other team members as required Company Overview We are Element, one of the fastest growing testing, inspection, certification and calibration business in the world.
