The Human Resources Manager functions as a consultant to the business and a change champion managing both short-term requirements (salary planning, organizational changes) and the long-term strategic development priorities (organizational design, succession planning, change and positioning for growth). This role is an integral part of the Electronic Security organization and will align priorities across the business, platform and corporate groups.
Duties and responsibilities
- Act as a true business partner and change champion in terms of challenging leaders to build organizational capability and bench strength.
- Lead alignment and development of leadership competencies and create specific/individual plans for enhancement. Work with employees and leadership to solve employee relations issues and concerns.
- Act as a champion to integrate HR and key initiatives within the broader organization and to integrate further acquisitions in the business.
- Work across the functions to lead and influence change at a strategic level across the business.
- Develop, execute and maintain performance/feedback process
- Drive succession planning and associate development planning.
- Identify and implement action plans on development needs.
- Develop, launch and maintain employee engagement programs and communication plans.
- Coordinate variable compensation and salary planning activity for respective region. This includes merit increases, promotions, market adjustments, licensing and other salary related needs.
- Ensure that HR Metrics and reports are completed accurately and timely.
- Provide HR advice and support to leaders and employees on a wide range of strategic and operational Human Resources issues, including employee relations matters.
- Acts as a point of the contact for the leaders in the client group to builds strong business relationships.
- Proactively supports the delivery of HR Processes within the business.
- Leads complex HR Projects cross-functionally. Actively identifies gaps, proposes and implement changes necessary to cover risks.
- Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in the people management.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Human Resources or related field of study, or equivalent experience and knowledge
- Thorough knowledge of wide-range of HR programs, processes and tools in all areas ranging from compensation & benefits, employee relations, and talent management
- Knowledge of appropriate HR/legal standards and regulations
- Experience leading strategic HR projects and initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to lead HR projects from start to finish
Preferred
- SHRM-CP or PHR Certification preferred but not required
Working Conditions
This position will support remote client groups. The job incumbent must be able to work onsite. Working hours will vary based on the needs of the business as well as the time zone the HR partner is supporting. This position may require occasional travel depending on the needs of the business.
