Manager – Recruiting

This is a Contract position in Richmond, VA posted September 30, 2021.

Skills Knowledge and Experience Determines recruiting objectives by studying current and projected job needs and qualifications Develops potential recruiting sources by preparing research strategies; identifying and qualifying sources, including search engines, message boards, organization lists, publications, home pages, colleges and institutes, and job fairs; building personal networks Finds applicants by preparing print advertisements and job board postings; researching, targeting, and cold-calling potential candidates; calling referrals; establishing web browser and Internet access to organization information and job application processes; developing organization web page content; developing rapport with web job-posting site representatives Oversight and maintenance of applicant tracking system by entering and updating sourcing, profiling, resume management, matching, tracking, and hiring information.

Management of Recruitment team throughout the US Minimum of four years’ experience in recruiting Minimum two years’ experience managing a team Bachelor’s Degree preferred Experience in transportation industry a plus.

Experience providing HR support as needed Superior communication skills, verbal and written Experience in implementation of new systems High level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Internet acumen Key Accountabilities Strategy & Governance Oversee team of 2 Boston based Recruiters Ongoing collaboration with various Keolis Commuter Services departments Development of master vendor agreements with staffing companies where needed Management of recruitment team to ensure staffing needs as needed Design and implement overall recruiting strategy Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etc Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media etc Screen candidates resumes and job applications Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process Business Processes Assist in developing some procurement business policies and processes Provide efficiencies and processes training’s to all locations for best practices Reporting Coordinate performance reporting for procurement across the region including the implementation of tools and key metrics.

Also, contingent upon receiving a favorable background check.

Must pass a physical examination.
