This role will be responsible for partnering with our hiring managers to anticipate and meet the evolving hiring needs of the business and to deliver exceptional talent to the organization. The ideal candidate is experienced in implementing best recruitment practices and strategies and in creating new pathways for talented and passionate employees. In this role, you’ll be a hands-on manager, rolling up your sleeves recruiting and sourcing, as well as having the drive to build a newly formed recruiting team within a fast paced environment. Upgrade is experiencing fast growth, requiring you to wear many hats to ensure our success. Your experience includes supporting hiring managers, planning and execution, and working under tight deadlines without sacrificing quality or excellence.What you’ll be doing:* Lead and continuously improve the recruiting function and team to attract and hire the best talent* Partner with leaders/hiring managers across the organization to understand position requirements and needs, drive sourcing to find qualified candidates, through vendor tools, recruiting technology solutions, networking and other platforms such as social media, mobile, digital, etc.* Identify, source and interview for current open roles within the organization* Build successful ATS procedures and best practices for internal recruiting teams and hiring managers* Manage and evolve the recruitment policies and processes to ensure staffing strategies meet organizational current and future needs, and are compliant with employment law* Establish and/or maintain effective collaborative relationships with hiring managers, People Operations business partners, candidate pool, and recruiting team members* Understand and articulate the lines of business to successfully market positions to potential candidates* Identifies, researches and recommends targeted colleges for recruitment. Maintains campus presence by attending career fairs, facilitating information sessions, interviewing top candidates, and participating in relevant school events* Equip leaders/hiring managers with tools and information to strengthen their candidate evaluation and decision-making processWhat you have:* Minimum of five (5) years of experience conducting full-life cycle recruiting in a high volume, or high-tech start-up environment* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field* Familiarity with college and university recruitment strategies* Minimum of two (2) years managing a recruiting team preferred* Proven ability to develop recruiting team members of varying degrees of experience* Demonstrates proven sourcing skills utilizing current social media sourcing tools* Experience in managing data, reporting and effectively utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS) required* Ability to maintain recruitment metric requirements including time to fill, timely candidate prescreens, interviews and compiling job offers* Highly effective communication skills; ability to communicate to all levels throughout organization using written, verbal and listening skills to build collaborative relationships* Knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to recruitment* Proficient in ATS such as Lever* Highly organized with excellent project management skills, attention to detail and the proven ability to multi-task under deadline pressureThe Good Stuff:* -Great OPEN office environment!* -Comprehensive benefit package: Medical, dental, and vision, disability and life insurance* -Open vacation policy* -Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Phoenix – close to light rail and public transportation* -Company paid parking benefit* -Wellness incentive program* -Two kitchens stocked with beverages, snacks and treatsWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
