Manufacturing Human Resource Representative

Manufacturing Human Resource Representative Workload: 100 Primary Responsibilities The Human Resource Representative will assist the Human Resource Department with complex and specialized administrative tasks including reviewing job applications from prospective employees, managing and overseeing records, and generating reports, conducting new employee onboarding.

This position is responsible for providing direct support to the human resource management team in all aspects of human resource administrative responsibilities as well as supporting plant operations teams in human resource administrative needs.

The HR Representative may occasionally provide administrative support to the Managing Director.

This position requires the ability to handle information and documents in a professional and confidential mannerPrimary Job Responsibilities
•Reviews applications for entry-level and non-exempt positions; conducts and/or schedules preliminary interviews.
•Primary ownership of New Hire Orientation and other onboarding responsibilities
•Lead Ambassador of GFH Employee Engagement and Recognition programs/committees
•Maintains employee records, ensuring completion and accuracy of details such as employee contact information, job classification, pay rates, organizational structure, and other key details.
•Maintains accurate records of active job openings and received applications; manages internal and external job postings.
•Performs administrative and recordkeeping tasks related to staffing changes, which may include layoffs, resignations, terminations, and extended leaves of absence.
•Assists with the administration of employee benefits, which may include collecting and submitting employee information and notice of change in status to health, dental, life, disability, and other insurance carriers or insurance brokers.

•Plans and supports company-wide information meetings such as open enrollment, new hire orientation, and meetings to announce or discuss changes in retirement or benefits plans.
•Conducts or assists with record audits and mandatory reports, which may include I-9 audits, EEO-1 filings, payroll audits, and other compliance reviews.
•Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements & Education Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
•Working knowledge and understanding of all applicable government regulations in regards to HR compliance, etc., local, state, and federal.
•Experience working with HR software ( ADP and ADP
– ETime a plus)
•Must be able to work flexible hours starting as early as 7:30 am and occasionally with advance notice work past office hours if needed to support off shifts and/or employee meetings.

Excel is a must.Education and Experience Requirements:
•High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
•Two years of human resource administrative experience preferred, with at least one year in a manufacturing facility highly preferred.
