Location:US, Nevada PRIMARY PURPOSE:Delivering on our mission to entertain the human race starts with attracting the best talent to the MGM Resorts International family.

You will be an integral part of the Talent Acquisition team working closely with recruiters, hiring managers and candidates as you help move candidates through our recruiting process.

In addition to your connection with hiring managers and candidates streamlining the process from application to final disposition, you will be an active participant in career fairs, hiring events and other recruitment activities designed to ensure an on-going diverse candidate pool that match the necessary skills and experience for our roles.

You will be working with a large team of Talent Acquisition professionals to support your learning and growth with MGM Resorts.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist Talent Acquisition team in the coordination and planning of recruitment fairs; represent the Talent Acquisition department, as needed at community events and recruitment venuesMaintain candidate status in applicant tracking systemAnswer Talent Acquisition phone line to respond to recruitment business needs, including candidate requestsReview emails in the ” Employment” Outlook inbox and send out general response emails as it relates to applying to our company for a positionConduct weekly requisition hiring activity audits to ensure complete & timely documentationPrepare and draft e-mails, offer letters, reports, meeting minutes and agendasSchedule interviews for Talent Acquisition and Hiring ManagersAssist Hiring Managers with requisition status updates, applicant re-positioning and other common requestsEstablish and maintain confidential recordsPerform other job-related duties as requested KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Highly ethical and discreet, with ability to maintain confidentialityStrong project management skills with excellent follow-up and follow-throughFamiliarity with Recruitment and HR software programs (i.E., ATS, CTS, Kronos, Workday, etc)Knowledgeable of state and federal labor lawsStrong interviewing and evaluating skills; able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal formsAbility to read and write proficiently to evaluate reports, correspondence and statistical informationAbility to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environmentProficiency of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.E.

telephone, copier, fax machineEffective listening abilities with strong judgment and analytical skillsExcellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or equivalentOne (1) year of customer/guest service experienceWork varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays PREFERRED:Associate degree and/or pursuing a Bachelor degree with at least two (2) years of progressive experience in Human ResourcesSix (6) months administrative experienceExperience in Recruitment and/or Human ResourcesHospitality or Service industry experienceBilingual English/Spanish
