Reporting to the Nurse Manager will be the house supervisors, IV therapists, Transporters and the clinical and non-clinical staffing office team. Responsibilities of the Nursing Resources Manager include overseeing overall department operations, managing the budget, cross collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including human resources, administration, department directors, and third party partners to streamline patient flow, bed management and staffing efficiency.
The Nursing Resources and Staffing Manager will have prior experience working in an acute care staffing office or resource department, with a background in bed management, overseeing overall operations, and leading teams. The Nursing Resources and Staffing Manager may have prior experience implementing EMR systems and redesigning the flex/float pool and hiring process in order to attract, hire and retain top talent while minimizing the usage of temporary staffing agencies. Additionally, the Nursing Resource Manager is familiar with preparing for upcoming accreditation surveys, maintaining JCAHO, CMS, DOH compliance, developing quality performance improvement initiatives, submitting monthly reports and actionable plans, and mentoring multidisciplinary teams.
