Part-Time Payroll Clerk

Ref ID: 00450-9502688429 Classification: Payroll Clerk Compensation: $15.45 to $17.80 hourly Accountemps is hiring a Payroll Clerk for one of our clients in the Non-Profit industry—if you want to join a dynamic, fast-growing team, you are encouraged to apply In this role, you will get the chance to support the Payroll department in a variety of methods including data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments.

You should have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively interact with both the internal team and outside customers.

Your responsibilities in this role
– Perform clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, etc
– Data entry into spreadsheets and the payroll system
– Communicate with organization employees via a variety of channels to obtain approvals of timesheets
– Update data into spreadsheets and the payroll system
– Administer instruction/training to employees regarding the use of payroll-related systems including entry of timesheets, online access of pay statements, etc.

– Administer and distribute reports as instructed
– Build and run custom reports Job Requirements:
– Eagerness to master new systems
– Strong attention to detail
– Strong time management and organizational skills
– Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
– Payroll software experience is a plus
– 3 years of previous payroll experience
– Answering Inbound Calls experience
– General familiarity with Part-Time Receptionist
– Payroll experience
– Foundational knowledge in Monthly Reporting
– Well-founded grasp of Microsoft Office Word
– Proven knowledge of QuickBooks
– Paychex Payroll experience desired
– Donations experience
– Excellent data entry skills Interested?
