Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

• 6 years of experience developing narratives and delivering key points

• 6 years of program management experience, leading cross-functional initiatives and campaigns, creating operational strategies, and developing processes with stakeholders

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working on technology policy issues within government, think tanks, public interest groups, or relevant industry associations

• Experience developing outreach and tracking tools including collateral materials

• Experience generating reports using SQL or similar query language

• Comfort with managing compressed timelines with an ability to handle shifting priorities in a positive, collaborative manner

• Passion for YouTube and enjoy watching your favorite channels regularly

• Excellent executive presence including clear and effective communication skills

About the job

The Partnership Enablement team is focused on educating and activating YouTube content partners and our internal teams.

Our multifaceted team members work together with various cross-functional stakeholders throughout YouTube to shape strategies and programs, develop communications and collateral, and execute plans for our top creator, media company, and music partners on YouTube’s top priorities.

As a Partnerships Policy Program Manager, you will work with key cross-functional stakeholders across YouTube focused on public policy-related partner-facing campaigns and initiatives.

Working side-by-side with YouTube Content Partnerships, Government Affairs and Public Policy, Marketing, and Communication teams, as well as third-party organizations, you will develop and execute a strategy for consistent and meaningful engagement with our creator, media company, and music partners on YouTube’s key policy priorities in their markets.

You will manage multiple projects across different areas of focus, and easily adapt and evolve with changing priorities, directions, and projects.

Responsibilities

• Be a primary point of contact for YouTube’s Partnerships team with key stakeholders focused on public policy-related campaigns and initiatives.

• Develop and coordinate Creator education programs to ensure consistent engagement with creators on key policies in their markets. 

• Coordinate strategy and process to engage with industry partners across traditional media and music on key policies in their markets. 

• Lead cross-functional teams in planning and execution of regional go-to market plans and programs.

• Drive inputs and alignment on regional go-to market programs and ensure consistent execution across markets in-region.
